Description
The first L00 I did was this configuration and I still play it. The maple an bloodwood make a beautiful configuration. The wood is figured Maple and the back has a custom Bloodwood purfling I made. The binding, Headstock veneer , tail piece and heel cap , are all bloodwood. I also made the fretboard ( 24.75 scale 1 3/4 nut 2 1/4 spacing ) and bridge all bloodwood to match,
The bone nut and saddle are included. The top and back are thinned and brace is plotted. The top is brace to the 1930 spec and with scallop red spruce braces.
The neck is custom with a figure maple skink stripe. 2 way truss rod 14 fret
the rosette is typical of the Gibson rosette. I will included the picguard. The inlay ( 1/4 in paua dots) will pop against the red . The fret wire is jescar 4080. Board is radiused to 12 in. as is typical of Gibson.
Sides are bent and trimmed to the L00 shape.
