pre war Martin style OM Brazilian rosewood red spruce top.

$4,250.00

Description

this is a rare offering.  High quality Brazilian Rosewood with a high quality red spruce top.  The specs  on the kit is pre 1937.

Back and sides  HIGH QUALITY quartered  back and sides. Bent ,  trimmed and contoured for the OM shape. The top is a red spruce top , joined and rosettes with the pre war style rosette.

The braces are spruce and scalloped 1/4 in. The killer is the neck. This is a true martin neck for an OM authentic with the EBONY neck reinforcement.  This means the neck is not adjustable and you must do compression fretting. I have included the fret wire in .020 tang and .0235 tang.  Be sure you watch my video on compression fretting .

The fretboard is ebony , radiused and slotted, it has the short pattern square and diamonds and it is inlaid.  The ebony will get glued in when you do the fretboard.  So Set the neck first , then  use the  .o2o on the tang and do the compression fretting from 10 to the nut.   The side dot material and all parts are included. The saddle and nut are bone and there are red dot bone pins included.

the tuners are  grover open back butterbean .  I included a Brazilian Rosewood head veneer.   I can’t stress just how rare this kind of kit is.

The nut is 1 3/4 wide with 2 1/4 spacing at the bridge. The saddle is a through saddle and will need to be fit to the bridge and glued in after set up.   The binding is IVROID and you have the wedge and heel cap.

I cannot ship out of the states.
