this pattern is for a weisenborn lap steel guitar. There are things you need to know , so please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
The bend pattern will require a 42 in set of slats , and a 42 in heat blanket. We also have a bending set up for this. Note that the pattern has 3 parts for the main pattern the 2 outer parts and an inner. The steel tubes are more for support and there are 4 pieces for setting the spacing for the pattern pieces.
the caul for the neck area uses two toggle clamps. So like the regular bender you do lower bout , start the upper bout and set the neck caul then finish the waist to pull the slats and PRESS the sides on the pattern.
The holes are just a touch over sized to allow easy take down for storage as this pattern does take up a lot of real estate in the shop.
