Here is a special kit for the purist. I have a nice set of old mahogany with red spruce top and matching red spruce 1/4 in scallop braces. All brace locations on top and back are plotted for you.
The neck is what makes this special , it is Tee bar neck reinforced with compression frets. The back and sides are bent, trimmed and contoured to the 12 fret 000 shape. Dovetail neck 1 3/4 nut 2 1/4 spacing on the bridge. the fretboard is ebony as is the bridge. I inlaid the short pattern diamond and squares on the fretboard . The fretboard is radiused and slotted , short scale 24.5. Bone saddle and nut blanks is included. Head veneer is not on in case you want to inlay and that is BRW. Grover open back butter bean tuners . The binding is dark tortoise and there is a purfling for the top b/w/b/w/b
