Description
This is a kit with Forward shifted braces , scalloped. They are 5/16 red spruce and modeled after the pre war braces.
Top is AAA grade Red spruce with a rosette installed. The top and back have all bracing locations drawn out for you. The back and sides are East Indian Rosewood. The sides are bent trimmed and contoured to the 14 fret Dred size. The neck is Mahogany and it is Dovetail , There is a valoute on the head stock and a 2 way truss rod.
The fret board has the square and diamond pattern inlaid. The board is 1 3/4 nut with 2 1/4 spacing. The side supports are old school ribbon that go on under the kerfed lining.
Tuners are Grover V97 open backed butterbean. The bridge is ebony as is the fretboard. There is a drop in saddle and bone pins included. The bone nut blank is also included.
All parts down to the strings are here. One Biggie is that this will have the old Ivroid binding .There is  herringbone top purfling.
