Description

East Indian back and sides . Red spruce top and braces  ( 5/16 forward shifted scalloped ). Sides are bent, trimmed and contoured for a martin style D14. The top is red spruce , thicknessed , rosette installed and bracing laid out on both top and back for the Pre war ( 1937) bracing. Herringbone and zigzag purfling is used and this was custom made for these from old prewar examples. The braces are old school with the wide flatter lower back braces.  All parts are included down to the strings.

The fret board is ebony , radiused , and slotted with the square and diamond inlay installed. The tuners are Grover open back 18 to 1 butter bean tuners.
