Description
This is a D18 kit with mahogany back and side , red spruce top with the rosette installed. All bracing is marked on the top and back to pre war position. The braces are 1/4 in scalloped , 24.9 scale. Neck is a dovetail with 2 way truss rod.
Sides are bent, trimmed and contoured to the 000 14 fret. The back is thinned also with the brace locations plotted for you. Braces are red spruce pre war shape. Nut width 1 3/4 , ebony fretboard inlaid with square and diamonds slotted and radiused. Bridges is 2 1/4 spacing drop in bone saddle and bone nut blank All parts are included.
Herringbone ( flexible no bending needed) for the top purfling and dark tortoise binding.Grover open back tuning machines.
