Pre War Martin Style D 18 guitar kit 14 fret era 1939

This is as accurate a kit as I can produce , to Martin pre war spec for a D18 guitar.  The back and sides are Honduran Mahogany ,  they are bent trimmed and contoured for 14 Fret dred shape.  The neck is Dovetail and TEE bar neck reinforcement.  This will require a compression fret job and there are multi sized tang fret wire included.  .o2o5 for 12th fret  down to 20   .0235  and .0225 for the upper frets.  Please contact me if you are not familiar with this process , I will walk you  through it.  Here is a vid link

the  neck is Mahogany and the slot is cut for the Tee  bar. The Fret Board is BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD as is the Bridge. So the nut width is 1 11/16  the bridge is 2 1/8 with a through slot. The nut and saddle are Bone  in 39 they were Ivory.  The bridge pins are Black ebony in the kit.  The fret board markers are accurate to 1939.

The head veneer is also BRW for you.   The Braces are forward shifted 5/16 scallop braces in Sitka Spruce.  The top is TORRIFIED RED SPRUCE.  The tuners will be WAVERLY .

The binding in this kit is accurate to the late 30’s as it is very Dark Tortoise , the binding  tail and heel cap . The top purfling is also the typical D 18 style.
The rosette is installed and the top and back are thicknessed with the proper bracing locations plotted for you.
