Using Guitar Molds. Molds are devices that are used to hold the shape of a particular guitar body shape. There are several types. I use a 2 pc mold that uses toggle clamps. This makes getting the set ready to build and blocking in the set easy and accurate. You can make your own but I can tell you that you need to be aware of keeping the sides as square as possible. If you don't the body sides will look splayed. This will also place un-due stress on the soundbox and may affect the acoustic abilities of the body.
